We handcraft our leashes with biothane, brass hardware and double capped rivets, using the same materials and tools we use for the straps on our sheaths!  Biothane is a PVC coated nylon that is durable, waterproof, will not smell and is super easy to clean with soap and water.  It is very strong, field tested by our GSD Patton, and regularly used to make horse reins as well!
 
The traffic leash is 15 inches as opposed to our 20 inch trainer leash for an even closer hold onto your little Gremlin.  We love this length for trips to the vet, quick car rides and any outing where you just need them within arms reach! We always keep 1 in the car just in case we ever forget our longer leash.  We highly recommend this shorter leash for larger pups that may just need a little more training.
